Kids are one of the top three issues that couples fight about.  It is usually because there are different philosophies of parenting;  often one parent is more strict than the other.  Evaluate your philosphy of parenting with this quick quiz.  Do you fall into the trap of being the "good parent"?

8-10, excellent. You are letting your child take responsibility and creating a respective home environment.

5-8, good. Talk together about ways in which you can enhance learning opportunities for your child.

0-5, you are "working" too hard. You are taking responsibility for things that really your child needs to address. You may find a local parenting group very helpful for additional strategies and support.
